David Cole’s The Lion of God Introduces a Cosmic Saga of Identity and Transformation

New Port Richey, Florida Sep 11, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - The Lion of God, the first book in a new series from author and multimedia creator David Cole, has officially arrived. More than a comic-book release, it is a sweeping introduction to a universe that merges sacred history, mythology, and deeply personal storytelling.

At its center stands Samael, an archangel often shrouded in mystery. In scripture and mysticism, Samael embodies both judgment and protection, a paradox that has made him one of the most debated angelic figures. In Coles telling, Samael is not a distant archetype but an awakened identity one revealed to the author himself in a story that blurs the boundary between lived experience and imaginative creation.

The debut volume immerses readers in celestial and astral landscapes, where ancient bonds are tested against the backdrop of cosmic conflict. Samaels journey is both internal and external: a search for identity and truth, even as forces of chaos gather in realms beyond human sight. Characters such as Lilith, depicted not as adversary but as Samaels equal and counterpart, bring the series an emotional resonance that complements its larger mythological scope.

Unlike conventional superhero tales, The Lion of God is less about capes and costumes and more about meaning. Every encounter carries a symbolic weight. Every battle mirrors a deeper struggle. Cole has crafted a story that asks readers to reflect on their own lives while they follow a narrative rich in otherworldly adventure.

Cole has ambitious plans for the series. Each new installment will expand Samaels universe while remaining rooted in themes of choice, responsibility, and transformation. In blending autobiography with allegory, The Lion of God becomes not only an epic to be read, but also a conversation with the reader an exploration of what it means to wrestle with destiny.
